This multiple award-winning chocolate doesn’t stray far from its roots. Gianduja was first invented in the Piedmont region of northern Italy in the 1800s, to make chocolate go a little further, and they ended up adding a hazelnut paste to the chocolate mixture. Little did they know the result would be impossibly delicious and reach world-wide notoriety!
Our take on the recipe is a sumptuously smooth praline that’s irresistibly heavy on the hazelnuts. We’ve selected our heavenly 70% cocoa chocolate for the praline, and wrapped this in a thick coating of our creamy 50% cocoa chocolate casing.
Cacao is alway our star ingredient and this product is no different – we think the authentic taste of the cacao bean really shines through. The mellow hazelnut praline contrasts beautifully with the bitter, rich flavours of the dark chocolate.
